Ralls County Church Bus Crash

A church bus crash on Ralls County Route V a mile east of New London at 5 p.m. Wednesday results in injuries for the driver and one passenger.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says the vehicle driven by 58-year-old Cynthia Whitaker of Hannibal went off the road and hit a field entrance. The bus went airborne into a ditch and back onto Route V. Whitaker was treated at Hannibal Regional Hospital for minor injuries. A passenger, 49-year-old Katherine Bateman was taken to Hannibal Regional with moderate injuries.

Ralls County deputies say several others, including some children, were on the bus and escaped injury.
