Quincy Woman Trapped in Car After Collision

(Quincy)—Traffic was snarled around 9:30 Monday morning after an accident between a car and a semi near the ADM soybean plant. 

Adams County Deputies say as 69-year-old Harold Flesner of Golden was turning left from ADM onto Gardner Expressway, he pulled into the path of a car driven by 57-year-old Vicki Harness of Quincy. The Harness vehicle collided with the trailer.

Harness was trapped in her car and had to be extricated by Tri-Township fire. She was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

Flesner was cited for failure to yield.
