Quincy Woman Ticketed After Being Hit by a Car

A Quincy woman is charged with illegal pedestrian use of the roadway after being struck by a car at 12th and State Friday night.

Quincy Police say 53 year old Janet Lefler was involved in an argument with the driver of a vehicle in which she was riding. The police report says Lefler then exited the vehicle and walked directly into the path of a car driven by 20 year old Anna Phillips of Quincy. Lefler was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. .
