Quincy Woman Held Following Shooting

A Quincy woman is in custody following a shooting late Wednesday afternoon.
Quincy Police say they were called to 1135 Vermont at 5:15 p-m for an individual with a gunshot wound. Police say a 43 year old man who lives at that address had sustained a gunshot wound to the face. He is being treated at Blessing Hospital and is expected to recover. The investigation resulted in the arrest of another resident—34 year old Amanda Perry for reckless discharge of a firearm. Officers say Perry was taken to the Adams County Jail pending formal charges. Quincy Police say the investigation continues.
