Quincy University announced the launch of a $25 million comprehensive campaign titled “Forever Forward” at a private gala reception on October 24 in QU’s Health and Fitness Center. To date, more than $15 million has already been raised. The comprehensive campaign is the first of its kind in university history.
Quincy University President Robert Gervasi says. “This campaign expresses our collective determination to ensure that our positive trajectory will continue and even accelerate. We will continue to attract and educate tomorrow's leaders, inspired by Franciscan values, and so the campaign theme, Forever Forward, is a fitting expression of that commitment."

The projects outlined in the campaign are designed to help the university deliver a cutting edge education in a vibrant and engaging campus environment. Quincy University will continue its tradition of providing a liberal arts-rooted education but the environment in which this education is delivered is changing. The university is modernizing and/or restoring learning environments and facilities throughout campus. Proposed improvements will allow Quincy University to more easily recruit and retain students by creating an environment that is both inviting and convenient for the student body.

The lead projects include The university’s Student union, Science Center, QU Stadium, Brenner Library, the university chapel, the office of Music and Communications, and funds for university endowment.

Serving as honorary chairperson for the campaign is acclaimed stage and screen actor and 1966 Quincy College alumnus, John Mahoney.

"We need to do everything we can to keep such a fantastic organization going. Quincy University is beneficial to everybody; to students, to teachers, and to the community,” Mahoney says. “I think this campaign and these projects are something that we need.”
