Quincy Teachers Strike Averted

Quincy Federation members give tentative approval to a new four year contract.
Union officials say all subgroups accepted terms of the contract. Quincy Public Schools Superintendent Roy Webb says the longer deal helps both sides. Federation officials echo that sentiment. The agreement avoids a strike that was set to being on Monday. Terms of the new contract have not been disclosed.
