To date, $294,358 has been raised toward the $390,000 goal of The Salvation Army’s 2013 Red Kettle Christmas campaign.

There are only a few days left to make 2013 tax-deductible contributions, and The Salvation Army encourages the community to make contributions before the end of the year, in order to help us meet the goal.

Donations to The Salvation Army Christmas campaign help provide Christmas food baskets, toys for children, delivery of gifts to nursing homes and shut-ins, and community holiday meals. Funds also support year-round programs and services such as the emergency shelter, food pantry, rent and utility assistance, disaster services, youth programs, summer camp and much more.

This past year, The Salvation Army has experienced a continued increase in need for services, making the need for funding greater than ever. With a considerable amount left to be raised towards our goal, help is still needed to ensure our quality programs and services continue for the coming year.

Thank you for considering The Salvation Army as you make a year-end tax deductible, charitable gift. Donations may be made by cash, check, Visa or Master Card by calling or stopping by The Salvation Army located at 405 Vermont Street in The Kroc Center. Donations may also be made online at the following address: www.onlineredkettle.org/salvationarmyquincy.

The Salvation Army expresses sincere thanks and appreciation to all who have donated to this year’s campaign. We wish everyone a very blessed Christmas!
