Quincy Salvation Army officials say their 2017 Christmas Campaign raised over 402-thousand dollars.

The goal was 400-thousand.

Money raised during the campaign helps provide Christmas assistance and funds programs and services for individuals and families in Adams… Brown and Pike Counties in western Illinois.

700 Christmas food boxes were distributed in western Illinois and 775 children received over 4500 toys from Toy Town.

The Thanksgiving dinner in Quincy served 520 meals. 365 meals were served on Christmas Day. Salvation Army

Officials say 2134 volunteers provided over 44-hundred hours of service to make the Christmas Campaign possible.
