Illinois State Police say a roadside safety check early Thursday morning at 3rd and Maine in Quincy results in a half dozen citations or arrests.
One occupant restraint ticket was issued. There were also two drivers license offenses and three insurance violations. Troopers say there were no DUI arrests and no arrests for other alcohol or drug violations.. Authorities say the roadside safety checks are designed to keep streets and highways safe by taking dangerous DUI offenders off the road.
