Quincy Police Investigate Shooting

Quincy Police are investigating a shooting that occurred overnight near the intersection of 15^th and Van Buren.

Officers were called to the scene at 11:22 p.m. They arrived to find a 34 year-old white male suffering from a single gunshot wound.

Witness statements and other evidence indicate the victim had a confrontation with subjects in a black Chrysler sedan. He was allegedly shot by an occupant of the vehicle.

The victim was transported to Blessing Hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
