Quincy Police Arrest Woman Wanted in Idaho Since 1997
Sharlene Liesen was recently arrested for Financial Exploitation of the Elderly. Liesen was lodged but released on bond in that case.
After Liesen was released from the Adams County jail the investigation into the original case continued. Further investigation revealed that Liesen was wanted out of Franklin County, Idaho on a felony warrant for failing to appear in court on a check fraud/insufficient funds case in which she had been ordered to pay more than $50,000 in restitution and then failed to appear in court in December of 1997. Liesen has been wanted for the warrant ever since.
Liesen was located on 2-27-15 at 10:09 AM and a traffic stop was conducted at 15th and Jefferson, she was taken into custody. Liesen was lodged in the Adams County jail on the outstanding no bond warrant.
