Quincy Police Announce Holiday ‘Click it or Ticket’ Results

The Quincy Police Department recently completed its annual Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement mobilization.

The extra enforcement effort took place from December 16th through January 2nd.

According to Quincy Deputy Chief Doug VanderMaiden, Quincy Police issued 37 no seat belt citations, along with making two DUI arrests, three arrests for suspended or revoked licenses, four uninsured motorist arrests, and made 36 other arrests.

Quincy Police join with law enforcement agencies across the state of Illinois in an effort to get more motorists to buckle up during the holiday season.
