Quincy Pharmacy Acquired by Hy-Vee

A Quincy pharmacy will soon be moving to a new location under a new corporate name. A press release issued by the Hy-Vee Corporation announces the acquisition of 22 Shopko pharmacies in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Quincy is one of 17 cities where Shopko patient files will merge into an existing Hy-Vee Pharmacy. The Quincy Hy-Vee at 3700 Broadway will begin filling prescriptions for Shopko customers on January 10, 2019. Officials say Shopko patients will receive a letter further detailing the transition process.

The acquisition of the Quincy Shopko Pharmacy will not affect retail operations. The Quincy Shopko Store will remain open for business at 3200 Broadway.
