Quincy Parolee Arrested for Possession of Meth

The execution of a search warrant on a Quincy residence results in the arrest of a Quincy man Wednesday morning.

Officers of the West Central Illinois Task Force, the Quincy Police Department and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office served the search warrant at 418 Cedar.

The search revealed methamphetamine, digital scales and packaging materials.

As a result, 47 year old Troy Owsley, Sr. was arrested for unlawful possession of meth with intent to deliver.

Court records indicate that Owsley is currently on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Owsley is lodged in the Adams County Jail.
