(Quincy, Ill)—A Quincy man is behind bars after West Central Illinois Task Force agents say he attempted to execute a drug deal with an informant in the 11th and Cherry Streets area on Thursday.  41 year old Scott Roan faces charges of possession of meth pre-cursors and delivery of meth after he tried to trade meth for pseudoephedrine pills.  He is lodged in the Adams’ County Jail pending a Monday court appearance.  Roan reportedly has prior drug-related convictions and if found guilty on the new charges, he could face up to 30 years of prison time.
