(QUINCY)—Two Quincy residents face meth related charges following their arrest late Wednesday night by the West Central Illinois Task Force, Adams County Sheriffs Deputies and Quincy Police.

Authorities seized an active shake and bake meth lab at 1238 North 26th at 11 p-m Wednesday. Meth and items used in manufacture of meth were seized.

31-year-old Bradley Nieders is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. 26-year-old Amber Barger is charged with unlawful possession of meth. Both were taken to the Adams County Jail. Two children were present. They were turned over to a family member. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services will investigate.
