Quincy Man Involved in Nebraska Fatal Crash
A Quincy man was involved in a traffic crash that resulted in the deaths of two people in Nebraska over the weekend.
The Cass County Nebraska Sheriff’s Office reports 25-year-old Edward Koch of Quincy was westbound on Highway 34 southeast of Elmwood at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Koch’s car struck the rear of a second car, driven by 23-year -old Matthew Kirchhoff of Weeping Water, Nebraska.
Kirchhoff and his passenger, 22-year-old Emily Widger of Lincoln, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Koch was taken to a hospital in Lincoln for treatment.
