A Quincy man on probation for methamphetamine charges in Missouri now faces additional meth charges in Illinois.

West Central Illinois Task Force agents say 62 year old Michael Curtis was arrested Monday after a search warrant was used at 1925 Sherwood Estates in Quincy. Authorities say Curtis was arrested for unlawful possession of meth and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Curtis was taken to the Adams County Jail. Court records indicate Curtis was placed on probation in 2015 for a charge of unlawful possession of meth in Missouri.
