Quincy Man Arrested on Animal Cruelty Charges

24 year old Michael Anthony Medina, Jr. was taken into custody on warrants filed in May.

Medina is charged with aggravated cruel treatment to animals and misdemeanor cruel treatment to animals.

Medina is alleged to have starved and abandoned seven animals in Abingdon, Illinois last April.

Medina is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
