Quincy Man Arrested at Local Hotel for Robbery, Battery

A dispute at a Quincy hotel results in an arrest Sunday afternoon.

Quincy Police responded to a report of a dispute at the Welcome Inn at 2:50 p.m. Sunday.

Taken into custody was 23 year old Adam Rickert, who was allegedly involved in an incident with an unnamed victim. The two are reported to have known each other.

Rickert was arrested for armed robbery and aggravated battery.
The victim was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment.
