A Des Moines, Iowa man being held on drug related charges is granted a request for a bond reduction in Marion County Court Tuesday.

At an arraignment hearing, the bond for 37 year old Quincy Hale was reduced from $50,000 cash only to $50,000 cash or surety. Hale posted bond Wednesday and was released.

Hale was pulled over by Palmyra Police for speeding on Highway 61 on September 29th. A search of the vehicle uncovered Ecstasy, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $4,800 in cash.

Hale is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

He will be back in court October 24th for a preliminary hearing.
