Quincy Gems Take Two from Hannibal Cavemen

The Hannibal Cavemen drop a doubleheader to the Quincy Gems in Prospect League play at QU Stadium Thursday night.

In game one, the Cavemen fell victim to a three-hit, complete game performance by Gems pitcher Kyle Cedotal, who struck out ten in shutting out the Cavemen 2-0.

In the nightcap, Quincy scored the winning on an error in the 13th inning to complete the sweep, 6-5.

The losses drop the Cavemen to 1-3 for the second half, and 15-18 overall.
