Quincy Dogwood Festival Continues

(Quincy) – The 2012 Dogwood Festival continues  with a number of activities on Sunday.  Flag football tourney gets underway at 8 a.m. in Flinn Stadium.  Amusement rides continue in Washington Park from noon until 4 p.m.  Entertainment and the annual Pet Show is 1 to 3 pm at 5th and Hampshire.  A couple of events take place from 1 until 5 pm Sunday:  The Quincy Preserves Home Tour featuring six historic homes (call 217-222-3432 for more information), and  Pie on the Porch at Women's City Club.  A book signing by author Beth Lane takes place at the Visitors Center, 425 S. 12th St. at 1:30 and 3 p.m.  Catch the "Enchanted April" production at the Quincy Community Theatre at 2 p.m., and a Right to Life concert caps off the night at St. Francis Church at 7 p.m.
