Agents with the West Central Illinois Task Force arrested a Quincy couple Monday morning during a search of their residence.

Agents served a search warrant at 1714 Cherry Street and arrested Rodney C. Ward, age 46 and Christine L. Ward, age 49.  Both subjects were arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Participation in Methamphetamine Production.  The subjects were transported to the Adams County Jail were they remained lodged.

West Central Illinois Task Force was assisted on the warrant by the Illinois State Police Methamphetamine Response Team, Adams County Sheriffs Office, and the Quincy Police Department.

Adams County Court records indicate that Rodney Ward was arrested in 2006 for Manufacture of Methamphetamine and received a sentence of 30 months probation in Drug Court.

Christine Ward was arrested at the same time for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.  Christine Ward was sentenced to 24 months of First Offender Non-Judgement probation.
