Quincy Community Theatre Holding Auditions for ‘Peter Pan’
Soar away to Neverland with Quincy Community Theatre! Auditions are now open to all lost boys and girls (grades 6-12) for QCT’s imaginative interpretation of ‘Peter Pan,’ April 28 by appointment beginning at 1 p.m.
“All children grow up…except one.” Peter Pan and Neverland come to life in this intimate and imaginative retelling of J.M. Barrie’s beloved story about the boy who never grew up. Performed in QCT’s small Laboratory Theatre, the setting for this innovative production is an old attic, which through the imagination of a small group of children (and the audience), transforms into the mystical island of Neverland. All of the characters that you know and love (or love to hate) are brought to life by 7-10 actors. This unique theatrical event is sure to be an “awfully big adventure!”
Students aspiring to be Neverland residents are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the script and rehearsal information, available online at 1qct.org. A password is required to access the script.
All roles are available and all are welcome to audition, regardless of experience. To schedule a 40-minute audition appointment or for password information, contact the QCT Box Office at (217) 222-3209.
