Salvation Army officials in the area are continuing the annual Tree of Lights fundraising campaign through January.

Hannibal’s goal of 95-thousand dollars has been surpassed with a total of over 106-thousand dollars. The campaign in Quincy has raised over 382-thousand dollars. Quincy’s goal is 400-thousand dollars. Donations help provide Christmas food boxes… toys for children… delivery of gifts to nursing homes and shut-ins and community holiday meals. Funds also help with year round programs and services for those in need and emergency disaster assistance. Donations help assure that the Salvation Army can continue to provide the expected level of programs and services in the coming year.
