Quincy, Adams County Seek Input on New Branding Strategy

Economic development officials in Quincy are seeking community input on a new brand and motto for the area.

WGEM reports that Quincy and Adams County residents are being asked to fill out a survey at the website BrandQuincy.com by June 18.

Quincy Mayor Kyle Moore and two former mayors have joined the effort to promote the survey. The goal is to launch the new brand by the beginning of next year.

Quincy has been known as the "Gem City."

Nashville-based North Star Destination Strategies is helping with the research. The company has helped develop brands for more than 200 cities, regions and communities.
