(MACON)—Missouri Highway Patrol Troop B officials say they investigated 20 traffic crashes during this year’s Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Those crashes resulted in five injuries. There were no fatalities in the counties covered by Troop B.

Preliminary enforcement totals show troopers made 14 arrests for driving while intoxicated. There were seven arrests for drug violations, 430 speeding citations and 73 seat belt citations.

Troopers report 149 motorist assists and the issuance of 788 warnings.
