QU Hosts People’s Law School

(Quincy, Ill)--Quincy University and the Adams County Bar Association have teamed up to offer the People’s Law School on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. Although two informative sessions have already taken place, the good news is the free classes are designed to “stand alone” so the public can attend any or all of the remaining four sessions. Tuesday, October 2nd the subject is criminal law, including DWI. October 9th focuses on divorce and family law issues. October 16th covers Real Estate, Consumer Law and Bankruptcy. The final class October 23rd covers the Anatomy of a Civil Suit. The information is presented by lawyers and judges, but geared for the general public. Although some material is specific to Illinois law, part of the information is more general in nature.
