(Quincy, Ill)--A Hannibal man faces multiple burglary and theft charges after a joint investigation by Quincy and Hannibal Police results in the recovery of numerous stolen items at a Hannibal residence.

Quincy Police say 48 year-old  William Edward Liszeo of Hannibal was apprehended January 15th on an arrest warrant charging him with Burglary to Fitz’s Restaurant on 4th Street in Quincy last September.

Also on January 15th, two other crimes caught the attention of Quincy Police detectives—Heck Novelty reported one of their trucks stolen from Kentucky Street,  and two Quincy Public Schools trucks were broken into at the South 7th maintenance building.

Hannibal Police recovered the Heck Novelty truck on the 15th.  The trail led detectives to discover numerous stolen items January 16th at Liszeo’s residence on 616 Church Street in Hannibal.

Police say Liszeo is now charged with Burglary and Theft  over $10,000.  He remains lodged in the Adams County Jail pending issuance of bond on the new charges.
