The chase began on Highway 61 in Ralls County, continued on Warren Barrett Drive into Hannibal, ending when spike strips were placed in the roadway at South Arch and Warren Barrett by Hannibal Police. The vehicle avoided the strips, lost control and struck a minivan with three occupants.

Arrested were 28 year old Charles Elliott of Hannibal and 34 year old Robert Bailey of Palmyra.

Both are in the Marion County Jail pending the filing of formal charges.
