Public Help Sought to ID Body Found in River at St. Louis
Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman whose body was found floating this week in the Mississippi River at St. Louis.
The body was discovered shortly before noon Wednesday by a worker on the Eads Bridge that links Missouri to Illinois.
Firefighters later pulled the body out of the water near the MacArthur Bridge.
Authorities say the 5-foot-6, 144-pound white woman has a large scorpion tattoo on her back. She is described as being between 20 to 40 years old, with brown, straight, medium-length hair and a single piercing in each ear. Authorities say she also has a space between her front teeth.
Anyone with any information about the identity of this woman is asked to call St. Louis police or the city's medical examiner.
