Second Property Damage Crash Blamed on DUI Driver

(Quincy, Ill)--A second property damage accident this weekend in Quincy is blamed on another DUI driver.

Police report  21 year-old Russell Board, Jr.  is arrested after his car crashes near 24^th and Cherry Lane.

Officers say  Board lost control of his car just after 3 a.m. Saturday. His car skidded past a stop sign on 24^th Street and ran off the pavement.  The car then struck a street sign before running into a yard and striking an unoccupied parked truck.  The impact pushed the truck into a parked car.

Board was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

He faces charges of DUI, failure to stop at a stop sign, no seat belt and no insurance.
