The man who was the subject of a manhunt in Ralls County late last week was arrested on Saturday. The Hannibal Police Department located 29-year-old Jeremiah Preston in the 200 Block of South 4th and arrested him without incident.

Authorities say Preston fled and hit a patrol car after deputies attempted to serve a warrant on Thursday. The deputy in the patrol car was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital. WGEM reports that during the manhunt for Preston, search helicopters were observed canvassing Ralls County by several residents. Local authorities were assisted in the search by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Preston was unable to bond and is being housed in the Marion County Jail.
