Power Outage in Hannibal [updated]

Hannibal Board of Public Works crews restored power after a 40 minute outage in parts of Hannibal.

Power went out in the downtown area at 9 a.m. Hannibal Board of Public Works officials say there are also reports of a loss of service on the South Side. Service returned in the 100 block of North Third around 9:40 a.m.  No word at this time as to the cause of the outage. Traffic lights were out in the affected areas. When a traffic light is out, those intersections are treated as four way stops. The outage included the KHMO studio in downtown Hannibal. As a result, you may have encountered difficulties with our programming stream here on khmoradio.com.
