A Pleasant Hill, Illinois man was arrested Saturday night on meth-related charges.

Pleasant Hill Police Chief Zack Orr reports that a drug investigation by his office, along with the Pike County Sheriff’s Department and the West Central Illinois Drug Task Force resulted in the arrest of 36 year old Kyle Myers.

When Myers was arrested, he is alleged to have been in possession of more than ten grams of methamphetamine.

Myers was arrested for unlawful possession of meth with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of meth.

Chief Orr says the arrest is part of an on-going effort to combat the meth epidemic in the area.
