It was a warm homecoming night for the Hannibal Pirates as they matched up against the Fulton Hornets. Sports Director Bill Shuler says the Pirates trailed 14-7 early in the 2nd quarter, but they caught up after a Kadin Morgan interception and a touchdown by Wyatt Waelder. The Pirates ended up 28-14 at the half and went on to win 42-14. Hannibal is now 4-2 on the season.  Next week the Pirates travel to Moberly.

Meanwhile, Palmyra hit the road and the end zone repeatedly in Louisiana, according to Harold Smith. Tucker Aeschliman scored 3 touchdowns for Palmyra. Jarom Alexander had 2 TDs,  Peyton Plunkett, Tristen Gottman, and Dalton Perkins also scored touchdowns.. The final was Palmyra 58  Louisiana 14.   Palmyra's record is 5-1.  Palmyra vs. Centralia next Fri.

The Monroe City Panthers remain undefeated, they soundly defeated Brookfield , the final was 36-14.   Cole Pennewell had 239 yds rushing and 3 TD’s, The Panthers are 6 and 0.  Their opponent next week is Paris.
