(SPENCERSBURG) -- More details have been released on an alleged assault in Pike County last weekend. 23-year-old Tina Yager is charged with felony assault. She’s accused of injuring the head and neck of step-mother Jane Yager by hitting her with a beer bottle.

In a probable cause statement, a sheriff’s deputy says Tina Yager admitted to hitting her step-mother with the beer bottle, but denied using a knife to slice her throat.

Investigators found the victim lying on a bridge on a county road near Spencersburg northwest of Bowling Green shortly before 7:15 p.m. August 3. She received medical attention.

Bond is set for the suspect at 10 thousand dollars cash only. A court date had not been scheduled.
