Pike County Statutory Rape Trial Scheduled for July

(BOWLING GREEN)--A jury trial is July 18th for a Louisiana Missouri man who allegedly admitted to having sex with a 12-year-old girl. 19 year-old Christopher Beard Junior is charged with felony statutory rape.    In a police probable cause statement, Beard allegedly told authorities he had sex with the girl while being drunk and high. The incident allegedly happened in March of last year.    A pre-trial hearing is June 11th.
