A Frankford, Missouri man was arrested on drug charges Thursday after authorities execute a search warrant at his residence. Kasey Pettis was taken into custody after Frankford Police, Pike County Sheriff’s Deputies and East Central Drug Task Force officers seized a large amount of illegal narcotics at the scene.

Pettis released a large dog to attack officers when he saw them approaching. A deputy shot and fatally wounded the dog in self-defense.

Pettis was charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance, methamphetamine. At last check, he remained in custody with bond set at $10,000 cash only.
