Here's your Friday look at what's going on around the area this weekend:

The 25th annual LaBelle Harvest Fest starts tonight with food, music and the Little Mr. and Miss contest. There's a full day of activities Saturday with a parade, baby show, pet show and more.

The 85th Lion's Club Picnic starts tonight in Hull, Illinois with a talent show and a pork chop dinner. Saturday's agenda includes a motor show, baby contest, various kinds of royalty, music and the annual chicken dinner.

The 2012 Manchester Gospel Music Festival runs tonight and tomorrow in the Village Park in Manchester, Illinois (on U.S. 67 south of Jacksonville). Music starts at 6 this evening and 1 p.m. Saturday.

The horseshoe pitchers are in Hannibal this weekend for the Knights of Columbus tournament. Registration begins 7 a.m. Saturday with play continuing into Sunday.

Saturday's events include a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church in Quincy.
