Phil Conover Named as Quincy University President
Acting Quincy University President Phil Conover is unanimously selected by the university board of trustees as the school’s 23rd president.
Conover has been acting president since the resignation May 15th of Dr. Robert Gervasi. Conover will serve as university president through the 2018-2019 academic year. A search for Q-U’s 24th president launched in June and will continue under the leadership of Mike McLain. A press release says the move allows the committee enough time to conduct a thorough search to find the best possible person to lead Quincy University.
