Perry Woman Dies in Audrain County Crash

A one vehicle crash on US 54 Monday afternoon claims the life of a Perry woman. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says an SUV driven by 41 year old Bonnie Heying of Perry went off 54 five miles west of Audrain County Road 717 at 4:50 p-m. Troopers say the SUV struck a ditch and overturned. Heying was pronounced dead at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Mexico. A passenger—21 year old Lucas Kerr of Perry was treated at the hospital in Mexico for moderate injuries. The crash report indicates that Heying and Kerr were not wearing seat belts.
