An autopsy shows a Peoria nightclub owner whose body was found in a burning apartment building died from stab wounds.

Todd Scholl's body was found Wednesday night after a suspicious fire that authorities say may have been deliberately set.

An autopsy performed Thursday shows the owner of Berlin and Diesel nightclubs died from multiple stab wounds and was dead before the fire started.

Police are asking residents to help identify a man seen on video surveillance with Scholl before his death.

Peoria Police Capt. Mike Eddlemon tells The Journal Star that the man is a person of interest in the case.
