Pedestrian Struck at Center Pick-a-Dilly

(Center, Mo)—An Iowa woman goes to the hospital after she is struck by a car in Ralls County at 12:28 p.m. Saturday. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the car-pedestrian mishap began when a car driven by 79 year-old Lloyd Elzea of Center, Missouri was backing from a parking space at the Center Pick-A-Dilly convenience store.

Elzea’s car backed into and knocked down 70 year-old Helena Hallowell of Burlington, Iowa. Hallowell sustained moderate  injuries from the fall and was taken by ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
