Pedestrian Killed by Vehicle in Southeast Missouri

Authorities say a 45-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle as he walked along a road in southeastern Missouri.

KFVS-TV reports that the Missouri State Highway Patrol says William Arnold of Advance died at the scene of the crash about 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Delta in Cape Girardeau County.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

There was no immediate word on any arrest or charges.

The investigation continues.
