Payson Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

A two month investigation leads to the arrest of a Payson man on child pornography charges Thursday.

Adams County deputies executed a search warrant at a location in rural Payson Thursday, taking 24 year old Skyler Durbin into custody.

Durbin made his first court appearance Friday and was charged with two counts each of possession of child pornography with intent to disseminate, possession of child pornography with a prior conviction and violation of sex offender registration.

Durbin is in the Adams County Jail on $300,000 bond.

The Adams County Sheriff’s was assisted in its investigation by the Illinois Attorney General’s office.
