It will be at least another month before a popular Quincy restaurant reopens.

The owners of the Patio Restaurant announced Tuesday they plan to reopen for business sometime between mid-January and February 1st.

Mark and Kim Neiswender said that, although fire damage to the restaurant itself was minimal, it will take longer than anticipated to clean up the damage from last Friday’s fire.

The blaze heavily damaged one room on the fourth floor of the Elkton Hotel that occupies the area above the restaurant. Fire damage was limited to the third and fourth floors, but there was smoke and water damage to most of the rest of the building.
