An employee of the Palmyra Dollar General (905 Marion City Rd.) alerted the Palmyra police about a man passed out in a parked car in the store's parking lot on Friday, June 10.The responding officer discovered the white male, sitting in the driver's seat of a red Buick, had several drug paraphernalia items in his lap. The man, identified as Ronald A. Moore of Williamstown, was placed under arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered a substantial amount of a controlled substance, that
field tested positive for heroin and cocaine inside the vehicle.

Moore was placed on a 24-hour hold and a warrant was issued for two counts of
Possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.  Bond
was set at $100,000 and Moore remains lodged in the Marion County Jail.
