Parker Convicted of Attacking News Crew

A Quincy man accused of attacking a television news crew last February is found guilty in Adams County Circuit Court.

60-year-old Roger Parker was found guilty of aggravated battery, intimidation and resisting an officer in a bench trial before Circuit Judge Scott Walden Tuesday morning.

Parker is alleged to have attacked WGEM cameraman Ben Neisen while reported Jenny Dreasler was live on the air on public property at 7th and Lind.

Parker is scheduled for sentencing October 23.
